General Purpose and Scope of Position:

This position ensures excellent service and overall customer satisfaction to the Retail and Deli Department within our company. They are a key team member of our fun, growing team! This position will provide excellent service and overall customer satisfaction.

Key Skills and Abilities Include:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with customers, suppliers and team members to achieve customer service goals
• Knowledge of point of sale software – Not Required!
• Knowledge of Food safety and Food Preparation – Not Required!

Specific Responsibilities for C-Store Clerk:

• Compute daily checkout when working
• Help with training new Retail employees.
• Help cover shifts when needed.
• Review all inventory purchases/pricing accuracy.
• Perform routine cleaning and stocking within the C-Store.
• Assist in ordering supplies needed in the Retail portion of C-Store.
• Maintain a professional, courteous, and team orientated work environment.
• Any and all other duties as assigned.

Specific Responsibilities for Deli Clerk:

• Prepare, package and serve deli items on a daily basis.
• Follow food safety guidelines – such as proper handwashing, storing products and knowing expiration dates.
• Help with training new Deli employees.
• Help cover shifts when needed.
• Work and communicate in a professional manor with Deli Supervisor on a daily basis.
• Help keep displays of food clean and well stocked for customers to purchase.
• Operate and create a food item barcode that is able to be scanned at the cash register.
• Maintain a professional, courteous, and team orientated work environment.
• Clean and keep the kitchen looking presentable at all times.
• Any and all other duties as assigned.

General Purpose and Scope of Position:

This position applies fertilizer and crop protection products using a floater or high clearance sprayer. They will also provide support to all members of the operations team to make sure tasks are done in a reasonable amount of time. This individual will be a team member in ensuring excellent service and overall customer satisfaction.

Key Skills and Abilities Include:

• Must meet minimum age requirement.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Applicators License or ability to obtain.
• CDL or ability to obtain.
• Must meet DOT and Company requirements.
• Lift & load up to 75# packages of crop protection products.
• Ability to work additional hours to meet business demands.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Educate patrons on products being applied to fields, techniques utilized, and how you can continue to support them with products and services.
• Pick up and deliver products to customers as needed.
• Perform warehouse work to include driving loader, forklift and help perform maintenance on companies’ equipment.
• Assist with soil sampling and field scouting.
• Work closely with Agronomy Manager and Operations Manager to help develop plans to be competitive.
• Crop protection product mixing.
• Operation of application equipment
• Become trained to help unload semi delivery of fertilizer into warehouse location.
• Any and all other duties as assigned

General Purpose and Scope of Position:

This position distributes Energy products (Bulk Fuel and LP) in a manner that will optimize the Co-ops market share and savings. They are a team member in ensuring excellent service and overall customer satisfaction.

Key Skills and Abilities Include:

• Must meet minimum age requirement.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficiency with computers to intermediate level utilizing Microsoft Windows Applications
• Knowledge of mathematical concepts and the ability to apply such concepts as fractions, percentages and ratios to practical application with accuracy
• Ability to sit at a desk and/or computer terminal to perform writing and/or keying/typing information and also able to work in all elements
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Obtain or have Class B CDL with Hazardous Materials Endorsement, air brakes, and tanker (Class A preferred).

Specific Responsibilities:

• Maintain a regular delivery schedule and sales to customers in a manner which will result in increased customer satisfaction
• Submit tickets, balance meters, cash receipts, trip reports and truck inspections daily.
• Keep up to date on available products offered.
• Be aware of competitors pricing and energy program – Work closely with Energry Manager to develop plans to be competitive.
• Be aware of all Co-op Programs and prices as it relates to the LP Gas Department
• Inform manager of potential problems or new business opportunities related to the Co-op 
• Follow, meet, and stay current on all Federal & State regulations
• Willing to attend the PERC Training Program and all other trainings.
• Maintain inspection reports as required and perform daily
• Willing to work in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Follow all credit policies
• Willing to work long hours during peak seasons and fill in for other employees and in other departments as needed
• Setting of LP tanks and instillation of LP gas lines
• Any and all other duties as assigned
