Part-Time Cashier/Deli Clerk
General Purpose and Scope of Position:
This position ensures excellent service and overall customer satisfaction to the Retail and Deli Department within our company. They are a key team member of our fun, growing team! This position will provide excellent service and overall customer satisfaction.
Key Skills and Abilities Include:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with customers, suppliers and team members to achieve customer service goals
- Knowledge of point of sale software – Not Required!
- Knowledge of Food safety and Food Preparation – Not Required!
- Exceptional customer service skills
Key Personal Attributes Include:
- Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills for interaction with customers and fellow employees
- Ability to maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service
- Ability to respond professionally to common inquiries or complaints from other employees and customers, always greeting and saying thank you to our customers
- Reads, writes and speaks the English language fluently

Specific Responsibilities for C-Store Clerk:
- Compute daily checkout when working
- Help with training new Retail employees.
- Help cover shifts when needed.
- Perform routine cleaning and stocking within the C-Store.
- Maintain a professional, courteous, and team orientated work environment.
- Any and all other duties as assigned.
Specific Responsibilities for Deli Clerk:
- Prepare, package and serve deli items on a daily basis.
- Follow food safety guidelines – such as proper handwashing, storing products and knowing expiration dates.
- Help with training new Deli employees.
- Help cover shifts when needed.
- Work and communicate in a professional manor with Deli Supervisor on a daily basis.
- Help keep displays of food clean and well stocked for customers to purchase.
- Operate and create a food item barcode that is able to be scanned at the cash register.
- Maintain a professional, courteous, and team orientated work environment.
- Clean and keep the kitchen looking presentable at all times.
- Any and all other duties as assigned.
Shop Manager Assistant
General Purpose and Scope of Position:
The Assistant Shop Manager supports the Shop Manager in overseeing daily shop operations, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining inventory, and driving sales performance. This role involves doing a variety of shop and office duties, ensuring efficiency and profitably.
Key Skills and Abilities Include:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Mechanic/automotive experience is strongly preferred.
- Basic math and computer skills required (Agvance and Mitchell One)
- Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills required
- Must have a valid Minnesota driver’s license
- Ability to work in a high performance, fast-paced team environment
- Ability to adapt to and work effectively within a constantly changing environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in pricing
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills required
- Ability to walk/stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.

Specific Responsibilities:
- Answer company phone calls and direct them to the appropriate employee.
- Schedule shop appointments via in person and phone.
- Invoice customers when shop work is completed – ensuring payment is received and entered within the computer software.
- Prepare, review, and follow up on customer quotes/estimates for products
- Assist in managing day-to-day shop and office operations.
- Assist the Shop Manager with deliveries of company vehicles, salt orders, DEF Fuel, etc.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
- Monitor sales performance and help implement strategies to meet targets.
- Maintain inventory levels, conduct stock checks, and coordinate restocking.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally when Shop Manager is absent.
- Effectively communicate with the Shop Manager and Chief Financial Officer.
- Ensure the shop and office area is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Assist with cash handling and opening/closing procedures.
- Enter fuel orders into the dispatch system when requested.
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety standards within the Shop Department.
