Full-Time C-Store Manager (Dawson, MN and Madison, MN)
General Purpose and Scope of Position:
This position provides accurate and effective management of our 2 C-Store Locations in Dawson & Madison. This position will lead the team and provide feedback to additional staff members on the needs of the operation
Key Skills and Abilities Include:
- High School Diploma or equivalent years of experience
- Experience working with customers, suppliers, and team members to achieve financial and operational goals.
- Excellent communication skills including verbal and written
- Exceptional computer and point of sale operations skills
- Always promotes a positive and courteous attitude
- Knowledge of mathematical concepts and the ability to apply such concepts as fractions, percentages and ratios to practical application with accuracy
- Experience in developing monthly employee schedules to cover all shifts.

- Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills (verbal, written and utilizing all media (phone, e-mail, text) for interaction with customers and fellow employees.

- Work with Deli and Retail Supervisors to manage and provide effiency at both locations – Madison and Dawson.
- Review all inventory purchases for inventory and pricing accuracy.
- Closely monitor revenue and expenses
- Ability to fill in and work shifts if needed.
- Maintain a professional, courteous, and team orientated work environment
- Hold all company information confidentially
- Work with C-Store supervisors to set schedules
- Provide training to new team members to ensure consistency between shifts and a customer friendly environment
- Develop and review company standard operating procedures (SOP’s) for C-Stores and in the Deli Department.

- Supervise team to ensure customer needs are met and resolve any inquiries or concerns

Full-Time Cashier/Deli Clerk
General Purpose and Scope of Position:
This position provides excellent service and overall customer satisfaction. They are a key team member to the team to help things run smoothly within the C-Store Department of LQP Coop Oil Company. This position is Full-Time and will hold the responsibility of being a relied-on member of the team at both locations- Madison and Dawson.
Key Skills and Abilities Include:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with customers, suppliers and team members to achieve customer service goals
- Knowledge of point of sale software – Not Required!
- Knowledge of Food safety and Food Preparation – Not Required!
- Exceptional customer service skills

- Keep the store organized and clean by mopping, sweeping, and other light cleaning duties.
- Change gas prices within the POS System.
- Work with Retail and Deli Supervisors to keep the SOP Book updated on new procedures and other tasks.
- Complete paperwork properly after each shift.
- Review all inventory purchases/pricing accuracy. Communicate with Deli Supervisor on schedule.
- Communicate with the Retail Supervisor on schedule.
- Order supplies needed in the C-Store to make sure we are stocked with proper items.
- Maintain a professional, courteous, and team orientated work environment.
- All other duties assigned.
Specific Responsibilities for Deli Clerk:
- Restocking shelves / Coolers as needed throughout the day.
- Check daily temperatures and record on appropriate papers.
- Prep for meals before/after your shift making sure that food is correctly thawed/ready to use.
- Willing to fill in on shifts that are open.
- Wash all kitchen items when done using them.
- Take orders at the deli to ensure that all customers are getting the correct food order.
- Communicate with the Deli Supervisor on schedule.
- Assist with switching out Oil Fryers.
- All other duties assigned.

Part-Time Cashier/Deli Clerk

Agronomy Applicator/Operations Support
General Purpose and Scope of Position:
This position applies fertilizer and crop protection products using a floater or high clearance sprayer. They will also provide support to all members of the operations team to make sure tasks are done in a reasonable amount of time. This individual will be a team member in ensuring excellent service and overall customer satisfaction.
Key Skills and Abilities Include:
- Must meet minimum age requirement.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Applicators License or ability to obtain.
- CDL or ability to obtain.
- Must meet DOT and Company requirements.
- Lift & load up to 75# packages of crop protection products.
- Ability to work additional hours to meet business demands.

- Perform warehouse work to include driving loader, forklift and help perform maintenance on companies’ equipment.
- Assist with soil sampling and field scouting.
- Work closely with Agronomy Manager and Operations Manager to help develop plans to be competitive.

- Become trained to help unload semi delivery of fertilizer into warehouse location.

Energy Delivery Driver (LP, Anhydrous, and Fuel)
General Purpose and Scope of Position:
This position distributes Energy products (Bulk Fuel and LP) in a manner that will optimize the Co-ops market share and savings. They are a team member in ensuring excellent service and overall customer satisfaction.
Key Skills and Abilities Include:
- Must meet minimum age requirement.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Proficiency with computers to intermediate level utilizing Microsoft Windows Applications
- Knowledge of mathematical concepts and the ability to apply such concepts as fractions, percentages and ratios to practical application with accuracy
- Ability to sit at a desk and/or computer terminal to perform writing and/or keying/typing information and also able to work in all elements
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Obtain or have Class B CDL with Hazardous Materials Endorsement, air brakes, and tanker (Class A preferred).

- Be aware of competitors pricing and energy program – Work closely with Energry Manager to develop plans to be competitive.
- Be aware of all Co-op Programs and prices as it relates to the LP Gas Department
- Inform manager of potential problems or new business opportunities related to the Co-op
- Follow, meet, and stay current on all Federal & State regulations
- Willing to attend the PERC Training Program and all other trainings.
- Maintain inspection reports as required and perform daily
- Willing to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Follow all credit policies
- Willing to work long hours during peak seasons and fill in for other employees and in other departments as needed
- Setting of LP tanks and instillation of LP gas lines
